Boxing fans have been given a first look at the custom-designed ‘Battle of Britain’ championship belt that will be awarded to the winner of the highly anticipated clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
The two British heavyweight rivals are scheduled to face each other at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 12 in one of the most anticipated fights of 2026.
During their first head-to-head press conference on Wednesday, Turki Al-Sheikh joined both fighters on stage to unveil the specially commissioned belt.
The custom title features a gold centrepiece bearing the inscription, “Battle of Britain, Awarded by HE Turki Al-Sheikh,” alongside the Ring magazine logo.
The belt also comes with a red, white and blue strap featuring a “Fury vs Joshua” shield, the year 2026 and Union Jack motifs.
In addition to the commemorative belt, the World Boxing Association (WBA) has introduced a special ‘Super’ heavyweight title for the bout.
The winner of the fight will therefore have the opportunity to claim the newly introduced belts in what is expected to be a major night for British boxing.
Fury, who is confident of defeating his long-time rival, described the showdown as the biggest fight of their careers.
“We’ve come from the same country and dominated, been world champions and had our ups and downs. And now we fight on the world’s biggest stage,” Fury said.
The former heavyweight champion also mocked Joshua’s physique while contrasting it with his own appearance.
“He is built like an Adonis and I am built like a blamange! But, as I always say, you cannot put muscles on a ‘tache so when I crack him on the jaw he is going straight over,” he said.
Fury added that he believes the fight is coming at the right time for both men and vowed to attack Joshua from the opening bell.
“I am going to blast him out of there, it will be a gunfight at the O.K. Corral,” he said.
